Dr Joe Kosterich M.B.B.S. Author, speaker, doctor and health industry consultant, Dr Joe Kosterich wants you to be healthy and get the most out of life. The author of Dr Joe's DIY Health, he has a weekly health segment on TV - 9 Network in Australia. He writes for Medical Observer magazine, sits on the advisory panel of Prevention Magazine and is assistant clinical editor of Medical Forum. Dr Joe is a regular on radio 6PR Perth and is a health ambassador for locally grown fresh potatoes. He has written for numerous medical and mainstream publications and websites and is regularly sought for comment by the electronic and print media. Dr Joe gives motivational and practical health talks for the general public and corporations on how to look and feel better. He publishes a weekly newsletter and maintains a website and blog which has health information and commentary. Previously Dr Joe held senior positions in the Australian Medical Association and sat on numerous industry and government boards. He has extensive corporate experience in the setting up and management of medical centres and in helping businesses maintain a healthy workforce. He continues to see patients each week in general practice.

Witty and useful book

True to its title, “60 Minutes to Better Health” is a book chockfull of useful health tips, each one easily read in a minute. A few pages into the book I found myself liking this author and doctor; no doubt you will as well as you take in the health and wellness tips he presents in a homespun yet professional manner, with a bit of wit thrown in for fun. This is one of those books to leave up on your computer to come back to when you need a break from a tedious task; you may find yourself referring back to it once finished.
For example, did you know that there are foods that can improve your sex life? Yep, but I’m not telling you. You gotta read the book. If you do, you’ll also find out how you can get teenagers to stop being so recalcitrant as well as why you shouldn’t feel guilty about that glass of wine you drink every night.
All in all, “60 Minutes to Better Health” is a fun and useful book from a doctor with personality. Well worth a read.

Brilliant and witty read while educating about health. Dr Joe is a medical professional without the attitude, who is intent on helping people maximise and control their health and wellbeing by empowerment and education. This practical book removes all the jargon and lingo. Well worth reading, and a constant reference source. Love it.

Very Helpful and Interesting Book

I love this book. It is very motivating and easy to read. It gives you many ideas and different tips to follow during every moment of your life. Whatever your goal is you'll find great tips to achieve it within this book. I would rate it as the must-read book of the year.
